The NASCAR Cup series shifts to Kentucky Speedway for the Quaker State 400 on Sunday, July 12th at 4:00 PM ET.
Kevin Harvick is red-hot right now as he’s won two of the last three races, finishing second in the one race he didn’t win.

Busch has been up and down of late, placing sixth, 38th, fifth, 32nd, sixth and 19th in his last six starts. He’s just 10th in the standings this year, which is surprisingly low for the defending champ, and he hasn’t even won a race this year.
Busch has won twice in Kentucky but his overall track record is incredible. His worst result is a 12th-place finish in 2016 but outside of that, he’s been in the Top 10 every time. As a matter of fact, he’s placed no worse than fifth in seven of his nine starts here. Look for him to contend in this race on Sunday.Jones For a Top 10?
Speaking of boom-or-bust, does it get any more hot-and-cold than Erik Jones? He placed 33rd at the Brickyard after placing third at the Pocono 350.
Over his last 12 outings, he has finished in the top eight spots five times and finished 20th or worse six times as well.
I’m willing to take a shot with him here because he’s performed well at this track. In his three starts at Kentucky Speedway, Jones has placed third, seventh and sixth. It’s arguably his best track.

I’ll be taking a close look at head-to-head props with Kurt Busch and possibly Top 10 props as he performs well at this track.
He won the race here in 2019 and has now finished in the top 10 spots in six of his nine starts at Kentucky Speedway.
He’s also led laps here in two straight years and three of the last four, while placing in the top six spots in three of the last four too.

You have to pick your spots in head-to-heads with Busch as he isn’t racing that well overall. He has finished 13th, 13th and 18th in three straight races, but was in the Top 10 in nine of the last 11 starts before that. I think he can regain some of that momentum here.
